Mr Tam joined Mapletree in 2014. He is responsible for Mapletree’s investment and asset management activities in the United States. Prior to this, he was with industrial property REIT manager Mapletree Industrial Trust Management’s asset management team. Mr Tam relocated to the United States in 2015 to spearhead Mapletree’s first foray into the country and have since held various leadership appointments in the multifamily and student housing business units.

Prior to joining Mapletree, Mr Tam was a metals and mining Equity Analyst for Bloomberg LP, covering Australia and New Zealand equities. Before joining Bloomberg, Mr Tam was with KPMG LLP, where he led several audit engagements. He holds a Masters of Science in Applied Finance from Singapore Management University, and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder.
